Kuwait police saved a camel from drowning in Kuwait
Kuwaiti police joined hands with the civil defence and coast guard to rescue a camel which was drowning in the Gulf water off the oil-rich emirate.
Police and the other units rushed to the beach after receiving phone calls from passers-by that a camel was struggling for its life in the sea.
An Arabic language daily said the camel had apparently gone into the water to cool itself in soaring temperatures in the emirate.
“It was seen struggling for its life and was rescued in the last minute,” the paper said.
