Authorities in Saudi Arabia have found the body of a Kuwaiti woman allegedly killed by her husband. The husband claimed he had left her in a bathroom on Saudi territory and then returned to Kuwait.
The process of repatriating the woman’s body is ongoing, and the exact motives behind the crime remain unclear.
Earlier, a Kuwaiti citizen reported his wife missing in Saudi Arabia during their return trip from Bahrain to Kuwait. According to his statement, she disappeared while they were in Saudi Arabia. Their son questioned his father about her whereabouts but received no answer. Concerned, the woman’s brothers discovered she had not returned to Kuwait and reported the incident to the Ministry of Interior.
The Investigations Department summoned the husband, who appeared to be in an abnormal state. During questioning, he admitted to leaving his wife in a Saudi bathroom. The investigation is ongoing, with Kuwaiti and Saudi authorities collaborating to locate the wife and return her to Kuwait, in order to complete the investigation and uncover the full details behind the incident.
