Hoax call about a stuffed toy with explosives creates panic
A hoax call that the police received about explosives planted in a toy created panic in Kuwait.
The caller said the toy was placed in a public toilet near a bank in a busy area in Kuwait City. The area was cordoned off while Kuwaiti Police, Civil Defence and bomb disposal personnel rushed to defuse the bomb.
According to Al Watan newspaper, after carefully examining the toy, the bomb squad said that they did not find any explosives.
