Warning Message for housewives
As per Arabtimes, Public Relations and Media Department of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) issued a press statement through which it warned housewives and cleaning workers in companies and institutions against mixing cleaning substances and solutions.
Director of Public Relations and Media Department at KFSD Colonel Khalil Al-Ameer explained that the commercial markets sell many cleaning products that are made of chemical substances in high concentration.
If these products are mixed, they could result in a dangerous mixture that could cause burns and suffocation from inhalation of poisonous vapors and gases.
He revealed that firefighters have dealt with several such cases inside houses. Colonel Al-Ameer stressed the need to be cautious when using cleaning substances inside houses and to keep them out of the reach of children as well as read the labels and instructions on the products before mixing them.
