Bachelors in Kuwait may soon be fined for living outside of dedicated residences in a bid to separate them from family communities, local media has reported.

The concerned government authorities have declared war against bachelors living in private residential areas in a bid to ward off the corresponding social, demographic and security risks. The authorities decided to take necessary procedures to end the phenomenon and provide alternative solutions to residents of affected buildings. Minister of Communications and Municipality Affairs Essa Al- Kandari has affirmed that authorities will no longer handle such violations with levity, so the ministry will implement the law against bachelors living inside family accommodations.

    When I call baladiya and Police station to complain about the same, No action taken yet. PACI No. 18422885. M.0 # 1713/001. Block-1, Street 114, Building # 259-260. There are so many bachelors living in the family building opposite of our rooms. There are many Basement rooms also there in this building. Basement accommodation is also illegal. But, where to complaint, all are smoking and noisy bachelors. Haris is very aggressive and one sided. He always support then. Please notify this to concerned authorities, if anybody can help us.

    Very good step. I appreciate this law. Infact I would prefer if government make law for bachelor to live in company made camps in their own promises.

    If in case they will emplement this may be they will also put many bldg for bachelors only in every places of Kuwait to avoid problems of all bachelor s employees gob sites and inshaallah they will decide to minus some amount the rent because of no allowed boarders?

    Thanks for like my comments but now its a social reponsibilty of each expat living outside his or her country thousands of kilometer v came to this desert just for earning for us and our family but what this country gives back mental torcher foolish laws no common minimum human rights no right to speak what is this all law support national pwople only
    Come on wake up see the world atleat at least compare with uae how is the laws of go erment please live and let the people leaves every day there is robbery rape molestation teasing in malls misbehaving with ladeis and expat spiting from cara on expat and day by crime rate increasing so first stop this why u want to disturb people living peacefully

    Why u want to do this if all the becholors get out from family accomodation then the family will directly effected then the family guys will have to pay rent and minimum 50% should be decrease in rent is it ok for owner of that building All flats will b empty
    So think 1000 time before impleminting it

    Allahuakber Allahuakber why u want to show ur strenghth on mazlumeen what u did for in jahara residence yong kidz throwing stones on public transport All the building haris taking 200 to 300 ikramiya from exparts every year rent increase there no controle on them all real estate business running on expat they r paying huge rents with minimum facility haris is acting like minister of governate all law suppoet him not to tanents day by day rent increase in year 2000 flats are rented 2bhk fo 90 to 130 kd now single bed from 270 to 350 so in the same ratio did salaries increased? No so why this thinking come in mind kuwait had about 2.8 millons expat out of which how mant bacholors just check and plan a decent place for all becholors then migrate them. Just saying war on becholors media should underand the resposibility for the words they r using becholors are doctors engineers qulifeid technician for all engineering feilds so whar u think v becholors came here to face a war we r here for our family and v better know how to live like family in oher country. So my heartly request to media such harsh words first plan for becholor city then ler them shift peace. We are here fi peace and islaam is a religion of peace and all human being are my brother and sister

    This law is anti-expat especially poor and lowly expat like me.This is clear discrimination as if we are infected with communicable disease.Wake up people we are no longer living in the 14th century.Bachelors are human beings too!Why not regulate the unIslamic flat rent in Kuwait!Bear in mind,you cannot bring material riches in heaven.

    Kuwait had ban in most of the Muslim countries for applying family visa. What bachelors should do … Should they kill their families and come to Kuwait. First of all Kuwait should lift band on family visa from any nationality.
    On the other hand law makers should make employee resistance or resistance allowance compulsory in labor law.

    Haris are asking KD50 to KD100 in each flat! If the building has 30 flats the haris will earned KD5000 if he ask KD50 each flat at KD10000 if he ask KD100 in each flat! How big money he get in few days!!! Then if he had problem with the flat owner the haris will end the contract and look for new costumer and again asking for HADIYA!!!
