Kuwait speed up deportation procedures
The Ministry of Interior asserted Thursday its readiness to cooperate with the Embassy of the Philippines in Kuwait to speed up deportation procedures for Filipino laborers who violated residency laws, by coordinating with the General Department of Immigration Investigation.
This came in a press release by the Security Media of Interior Ministry following a meeting between the Interior Assistant Undersecretary of the Citizenship and Passports Affairs, Major General Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, and the Philippines Ambassador to Kuwait Renato Pedro.
For his part, the Filipino Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the State of Kuwait for providing care for the Filipino community and the role of General Department of Immigration for the services presented to his nation’s citizens. (end) hmd.ha
