Sheikh Mazen cited certain cases still under study such as increasing the fees of work permits of the public sector from KD 3 to KD 10 and fees of work permits of the private sector from KD 3 to KD 30. He reiterated that the fees structure has been prepared by a specialized technical committee and will be submitted to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior for approval, with the aim of coping with the economic fluctuations, ensuring the state revenues commensurate with the services provided to individuals and companies, and minimizing the phenomenon of visa trading.
