The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of an unidentified Kuwaiti woman for 21 days at the Central Prison on the charge of allegedly murdering her Ethiopian maid, reports Al-Anba daily.
A security source told the daily, the Farwaniya Prosecution has slapped a premeditated murder charge against the woman and trafficking in human beings.
However, the suspect has reportedly denied the murder charge but admitted to repeatedly beating the maid from Oct 3, 2018 to Oct 26, 2018, for not doing her house work properly.
The investigators have reached to the conclusion that the victim was beaten with a wooden baton until she finally succumbed to her injuries.
