Kuwait to bring 60,000 laborers
As per Arabtimes, The State of Kuwait will recruit about 60,000 expatriate laborers by the end of the summer of 2016 for the execution of the clean fuel project, reports Al-Rai daily quoting reliable sources.
They revealed that preparations are being carried out and the necessary equipment have been bought for the project execution, indicating that meetings are currently being held with the concerned authorities to facilitate the recruitment of huge number of laborers from overseas.
The sources affirmed that Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) will spare no effort in implementing strategic projects in line with the laws allotted in this regard, stressing that the clean fuel project is the first of the strategic projects worth billions that will result in a significant leap in the national economy.
They said KNPC has managed to successfully install a new reactor in the cracking unit, which is aimed to transform heavy oils into highquality petroleum products, in line with the international environmental criteria allotted in this aspect
