Hawkers Arrested in Mahboula

Ahmadi securitymen, in coordination with Kuwait Municipality, arrested a number of hawkers and violators of law, and confiscated large quantities of spoiled commodities during a security campaign launched to arrest violators of labor and residency laws, reports Al- Anba daily.

Ministry of Interior had launched the campaign after complaints were received about the spread of hawkers in Mahboula area. Securitymen rushed to the location and arrested a number of hawkers of different nationalities who were selling commodities in open yards in violation of the municipality law. In addition, a number of unemployed expatriates were arrested during the campaign.
