An unidentified Kuwaiti has been arrested for stabbing a policeman with a knife working at a police station in Ahmadi following a verbal altercation between them, reports Al-Rai daily.
The victim has been admitted to the Adan Hospital and the suspect referred for investigation.
According to security sources, the attack happened when the policeman stopped the suspect to check his documents because he had violated the traffic rules.
The source added that in the meantime, the support patrols requested by the policeman had arrived, where the defendant was seized and detained in the area outpost The policeman was transported to Al-Adan hospital where he was treated, and legal action is being taken against the accused.
