Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Major General Jamaal Al Sayegh issued a decision.
On the verification of driving licenses that expatriate drivers and representatives of companies obtained from their countries or any other country, indicating these expatriates shall not request for details certificate for such licenses from their respective embassies and these documents will not be attested by the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
According to a reliable source, the decision was taken after noticing the long procedures for granting licenses to drivers and representatives of companies
