Farwaniya securitymen arrested an Egyptian, who works at the Civil Enforcement General Department, for lifting a travel ban in exchange for KD 400, reports Annahar daily.
The Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry issued a directive to arrest the Egyptian after receiving information on his illegal act. During interrogation, the Egyptian admitted the crime and guided police to his two accomplices — another Egyptian and a Kuwaiti. A case was registered and the suspects were referred to the concerned security department.
Meanwhile, Ahmadi securitymen are looking for an identified person who stole the mobile phone of an Indian in Mahboula, reports Al-Anba daily. This came after the Indian, who lives in Mahboula, reported the theft at Fintas Police Station.
