The stations will be installed, 20 at a time, over the next five years, according to Shukri Al-Mahrous, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait National Petroleum Company. Al-Mahrous told reporters attending the petroleum company’s annual meeting that the first 20 stations are expected to start operation by 2017. The plans come within the framework of the KOC’s efforts to increase reliance on renewable energy in generating electricity, he said.
