Kuwait agreed to allocate more than 800 nurses in schools

indian nurseMinistry of Health has agreed to allocate more than 800 nurses to the government schools in the 2015/2016 academic year, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to the minutes of the meeting held between representatives from Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health, Ministry of Health agreed to provide each government school with a nurse. In schools with more than 1,000 students, the ministry will post two nurses. These nurses will work from 7 am until the end of their work duties.

The ministry indicated that the nurses to be allocated to various schools are of Indian nationality, due to which the schools will be required to help these nurses in translation of the students’ needs to English, adding that each educational zone has already received the names of the allocated nurses.

The representatives from Ministry of Health requested Ministry of Education to prepare the clinics in the schools, explaining that the nurses will be withdrawn from schools that have no clinics.
