The Ahmadi police have arrested an unidentified expatriate for trading in imported booze, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily added, the arrest came in Mangaf when the suspect disobeyed police orders and tried to escape by stepping on the gas pedal. Police chased and arrested the man and seized from his car 44 bottles of booze.
The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the General Department for Drugs and Alcohol Control.
