Asian arrested for running illegal liquor factory
Police arrested an Asian person for producing and selling country-made alcohol in Kuwait.
They also seized 75 barrels containing 108 bottles of locally-made liquor including equipment and shut down the unlicensed factory.
Acting on a tip-off, officers acted swiftly and raided the factory in Ali Sabah Al-Salem district in Kuwait City.
According to a report in Arabic daily Alanba, security authorities announced the arrested man’s deportation to his native country in East Asia.
