A Bedoun military officer of rank “First Master Sergeant” and two Pakistani employees of Ministry of Defense died when a military vehicle collided with a civilian vehicle on Artal Road. A Kuwaiti citizen and his wife, who were in the other vehicle, were seriously injured.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, securitymen, paramedics and firefighters were dispatched to the location. They discovered that the military vehicle had burst into flames upon collision and the three individuals inside that vehicle were trapped inside.
They pulled out the charred corpses of the three victims and referred them to the Forensics Department. A Kuwaiti citizen and his wife were pulled out from the other vehicle and taken to Jahra Hospital where they were admitted in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition.
Securitymen launched investigations to determine the cause of the accident. The sources revealed that the military vehicle burst into flames after colliding with the civilian vehicle, and the victims were unable to escape on time.
