The President pointed out the attack on Quetta was a manifestation of the terrorists’ desperation following the operation to eliminate them.

He stressed the need for relations between all Islamic countries to be cordial, such that they must exert concerted efforts to combat terrorism and extremism. He also emphasized the need for all Muslims to resolve mutual issues through the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

“Pakistan would stand by all Muslim countries in their hour of need, including Kuwait,” he added. The President affirmed that Pakistan is keen on maintaining strong economic relations with all Islamic countries, underscoring the need to have extended cooperation amongst the people in the Muslim world in the fields of education, healthcare and Science.

He commended the services of the outgoing ambassador of Kuwait in Pakistan and hoped that he would continue his work to improve relations between Pakistan and Kuwait.
