The Hawally police have referred a young Kuwaiti woman, born in 1974, to the General Department for Drugs Control (GDDC) for consuming and possessing psychotropic substances, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources she was ordered to pull up for committing a traffic offense in one of the areas of the Hawalli Governorate and while issuing a citation police discovered she appeared abnormal because of the way she picked up a quarrel with the police patrol.
She was then referred to the area police station and police found on her a kind of drug.
Meanwhile, police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti, born in 1973, for possessing sachets of heroin, reports Al-Rai daily.
The suspect was arrested on the Fahaheel Highway for reckless driving and while issuing a citation police found him under the influence of drugs. He has been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control (GDDC).
