Deportation centers overflow with expats
As per Arabtimes, Despite the tremendous efforts exerted by Ministry of Interior in seizing violators of residency law and wanted individuals, delays in completion of deportation proceedings have resulted in accumulation of expatriates in the detention centers under inhumane conditions which has led to outbreaks of diseases, reports Al-Shahed daily.
This dilemma has turned into a nightmare due to which officials from Ministry of Interior have been holding several meetings to determine ways to overcome these obstacles and accelerate the deportation procedures in coordination with other ministries such as Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Informed sources revealed that Ministry of Interior intends to allocate funds to provide tickets for deportees and receive the payments later from the respective sponsors due to failure by many sponsors in providing tickets for the deportees.
