Bonuses range from KD 500 to KD 2,600 per employee

Meanwhile, acting Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education Fahad Al-Ghais recently announced that KD 614,000 is earmarked for the National Day operetta to be held in honor of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad in February 2017.

He added the ministry also approved bonuses for 300 male and female employees contributing to the presentation of the operetta, reports Al-Rai daily.

He indicated the bonuses range from KD 500 to KD 2,600 per employee, noting he has since requested Civil Service Commission (CSC) to approve bonuses for deserved employees as done in previous years.

For his part, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education Haitham Al-Athari requested his counterpart to grant 1,200 male and female students participating in the operetta KD 300 bonus per person,

saying roughly 1,200 male and female students are participating in the operetta alongside 200 employees conducting rehearsals in Bayan Palace for 49 days prior to the event.
