I renewed my daughter’s passport since it had less than one year validity for renewal of iqama. On April 6th 2020 I was informed that online renewal for article 22 has become active . Taking the first opportunity I uploaded the new passport copy along with old passport copy as required after filling in the necessary details on the application. When I proceeded to renew it stated to pay a fine if KD36 / which I promptly did. Next when I proceeded to pay the renewal fee it said payment cannot be accepted try later, so I tried after a couple of hours still the same message appeared. I tried the next it said pay KD2 which I did and proceeded to renew I saw the same message ” unable to proceed try later” . Now 4 days have passed and I am stuck without renewing the Iqama, please help as penalty is accumulating everyday .
