No family visas without vaccination (Via Arabtimes)

yellowfevercertificate01The ministries of Interior and Health have activated an electronic link such that the Residency Affairs General Department will not issue family visas to four nationalities — Pakistani, Afghan, Nigerian and Yemeni — unless they get vaccinated against diseases spread in their countries, reports Al- Qabas daily quoting sources. Sources disclosed the vaccination should be done in the medical centers in the residential areas throughout the country.

Meanwhile the Public Authority of Manpower has given employers, especially companies with governmental contracts, a grace period of three months to rectify the status of employees registered under the expired contracts, reports Al- Anba daily quoting sources. Sources revealed the number of completed government projects totaled 580 and the status of employees under these contracts must be corrected to avoid legal problems. Sources confirmed the authority will take all the necessary legal procedures against anyone who will not abide by the directive.
