An unidentified Egyptian woman has been referred for investigation for refusing to divulge the whereabouts of her husband who is accused of assaulting a Pakistani over a traffic problem, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, the Pakistani and the Egyptian couple were involved in a traffic altercation in Rawdah following which the Egyptian woman and her husband beat the Pakistani.
The woman was summoned for interrogation after the Pakistani filed a complaint with the police station because the car is registered in her name. During interrogation she admitted to the charge but refused to give details of her husband.
