“Abtal Barcelona” are off to Brazil to Represent Kuwait in Neymar Jr’s Five Final

“Abtal Barcelona” five-a-side team prepares to fly to Brazil this week to represent Kuwait in the World Final of Neymar Jr’s Five tournament by Red Bull, which takes place on 8-9 July at Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. in Brazil. The winning team, “Abtal Barcelona”, will compete against 49 other teams from around the world in a highly thrilling football tournament coveting the grand prize; the chance to meet Neymar Jr. in Barcelona, Spain at the renowned Camp Nou Stadium and watch Barcelona’s match between the VIP spectators. “We are overwhelmingly delighted to have won  Kuwait’s final with our team’s strong defense and midfield skills,” said the team’s captain, Ghanem Sayer (21 years). He added: “We are aware of the roughness of the competition, however, we are willing to give it our best hoping to win”. From Kuwait, 128 teams have participated in 8 local qualifiers through which “Abtal Barcelona” made it to the world final. The tournament is the first and only Neymar Jr signature football tournament where 5 players compete against 5 in a unique last man standing modus.
