Clue 2 — The Neighbourhood. It isn’t in the old city, and it isn’t out in the desert. Head to the district that hugs the sea, the one known for its shopping streets, its cafés, and its weekend crowds. Its name sounds like it was made for strolling by the water.
Clue 3 — The Street. The road you need is named after a ruler of Kuwait from the early 20th century — the father of a long line of Emirs. Follow his street and keep your eyes open.
Clue 4 — The Neighbours. Your destination is a shopping centre, but not one of the giant new ones. It’s an older favourite, with a hotel practically leaning on its shoulder. Long ago, families lined up here to catch the latest film on the big screen.
Clue 5 — The View. On a clear evening, from nearby, you can almost imagine the famous three towers of Kuwait City glowing up the coast. You’re close to them — but not too close.
