The Assistant Undersecretary for Correctional and Sentencing Affairs at the Interior Ministry Major-General Faraj Al- Zua’bi, has referred a female employee at the Central Prison to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for helping her son get access to heroin who is serving time inside the prison, reports Al- Anba daily.
According to a security source, the suspect exploited her 10-year-old girl to smuggle the drugs to her son. According to a security source, the suspect sought permission to visit her son accompanied by the minor girl believed to be the daughter of her sister and during a search the inspectors found a quantity of heroin inside the girl’s clothing which was meant to be given to her inmate son.
