Personnel from the Sentences Enforcement Department have arrested an unidentified Iranian woman who had been sentenced in absentia to 12 months imprisonment for soliciting ‘services’ through the social media, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily added, the Iranian was seized from an apartment of her friend in Salmiya. She has been referred to the Central Prison to serve the jail term and deported after serving the sentence.
