Kuwait approved the increase of each new work permit to KD 250 starting April 1.

Meanwhile, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, and the State Minister for Development and Planning Hind Al-Sabeeh has announced that, during a meeting of the board of directors of the Public Authority for Manpower a few days ago, the board has approved a suggestion to impose a financial guarantee of about KD 250 for every new work permit issued to bring laborers from outside the country, reports Al-Jaridah daily.

    It says for every new laborers coming outside the country, the sponsor has to pay 250 KD. Not for renewal and transferred employees..

    Just an idea how greedy kuwaiti are… for me to work on the German economy it only cost me 10 Euros for a 2 year work visa. No sponsor. Just a good police background check.

    OK, Then the government why did't remove or ban sponsorship method. Kuwait government must Give working permit directly to Expats. We are ready to pay 260kd Per year.

    Guy's because they are starting eating money from expats during there oil is goin to be finish,,,and rule in kuwait is realy rude espeacially to the all expat and they dont know the words of WORK how hard people workin and easily for them to just take money like that
