Man caught bribing KD 1,500 for 3 Filipinas release
Police have arrested an unidentified Bangladeshi
for attempting to bribe the secretary of the Director of Security of the Jahra Police Station, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, the suspect taking advantage of the kindness of the official waited till everyone left after work and approached the secretary and requested him to release three Filipino women who had been arrested for violating the residence law.
He reportedly offered KD 1,500 – KD 500 hundred for each woman. The official pretended to accept the offer, informed the authorities and caught the suspect red-handed.
