If you’ve ever been messaged on LinkedIn by a recruiter promising a quick visa and a job in Denmark, you’ll know how hard it can be to tell a real offer from a scam. Denmark has just made that a lot easier.

The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration, known as SIRI, has published a full list of 982 companies that are officially certified to hire foreign workers through the country’s Fast-track Scheme. If a company isn’t on that list, it simply can’t sponsor you under this route.

For anyone in Kuwait thinking about a move to Europe, or weighing up job offers that land in your inbox, this is the kind of list worth bookmarking before you sign anything.

What this means if you’re job hunting from Kuwait

If you’re an expat in Kuwait eyeing a move to Denmark, treat this list as a basic due diligence tool, not a job board. It tells you whether a company can legally sponsor you under Fast-track rules. It doesn’t guarantee a job offer or a visa on its own.

It’s a similar principle to what we’ve seen locally with efforts to protect workers here, such as Kuwait’s own push on protecting private-sector salaries and the new Report Me service for labour violations. Governments publishing clear, checkable information is one of the simplest ways to protect workers from being misled.
