Customs officers at the Kuwait International Airport have arrested an Asian woman for attempting to smuggle 3 kilogram of marijuana, reports Annahar daily.
The daily added, the suspect came from an unidentified GCC country. A security source said the marijuana was neatly hidden in a secret compartment in her bag, but it was discovered by the Xray machine.
The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.
