Police have arrested an African housemaid for dumping her newborn baby in a garbage bin, reports Al- Jarida daily.
According to a security source, the Mubarak Al-Kabir police found the baby after a Kuwaiti complained to the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior.
Paramedics then took the baby to a hospital and according to eyewitnesses they saw an African housemaid dumping the bag containing the baby and escaping into her sponsor’s home.
Police questioned two African maids working in the area and took one of them into custody because she looked tired. Police then checked her room and found bloodstains on the floor.
