Trolley’s 2026 results of KD 15.4 million in first nine months.

If you’ve noticed a new Trolley branch popping up near your neighbourhood this year, you’re not imagining things. The retailer has been on a growth run through 2026, and its latest financial results show just how fast that growth has been.

Trolley has reported a net profit of KD 7.4 million for the first nine months of 2026, up 38.8% compared with the same period last year. The company says the growth came alongside continued expansion in both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

Where is the growth coming from?

The numbers point to two main drivers: more stores and stronger sales at existing ones. Retail revenues in Saudi Arabia jumped 42.0% year-on-year, while revenues in Kuwait grew a solid 18.3%. That’s a notable gap, and it suggests Trolley’s push into the Saudi market is paying off faster than its home market growth, even though Kuwait still matters a lot to the business.

Same-store sales, a figure that strips out the effect of new branches and only measures how existing stores are performing, rose 9.2% in the third quarter of 2026 compared with a year earlier. That’s an important number because it tells you the growth isn’t only about opening new shops. Customers are also spending more at stores that were already open, which is usually a sign of steady demand rather than a short-term bump.
