Today Gulf bank reported that one of our employees in Sabahiya branch has tested positive for coronavirus. He is currently under close observation and is in stable condition and we have taken all necessary measures to ensure his safe recovery.

According to Al-Anba “Experts say no vaccine for Corona before 2036”
Although Chinese scientists have claimed that a vaccine against the emerging Coronavirus may be available this summer, experts have said that a vaccine for the virus will take longer, but rather those who asserted, “We will not see a vaccine against Covid-19 before 2036,” according to the Irish edition.

Volunteer tested positive for coronavirus in Supermarket
A volunteer serving at the Jaleeb Al-Shuyoukh supermarket was tested positive for Coronavirus therefore the supermarket will be closed until complete sterilisation is performed before it can serve the public again.

Call to develop other shopping mechanisms and close co-operative societies
Major cooperative societies have sounded the health alarm, warning of the repercussions of complacency or the experience of patchy solutions that may lead to central markets being fertile grounds and easy prey for the coronavirus – the hidden opponent that continues to spread in front of total inability to tame or curb it, calling for the markets to be closed in the country while developing other shopping mechanisms more cautious than the current mechanism.

WhatsApp ups limit on video calls to eight people

18,000 expats ready to leave Kuwait
Around 18,000 expatriates who violated the Residency Law are currently staying in shelters and are ready to leave Kuwait, while the total number of violators ranges from 158,000 to 433,000, says National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim quoting Minister of Social Affairs and State Minister for Economic Affairs Mariam Al-Aqeel. Al-Ghanim made the statement Tuesday after a meeting in his office with Al- Aqeel, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr Ahmed Nasser Al-Muhammad and 18 MPs in attendance.
