The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has granted a grace period of three months for the renewal of work permits under the contracts of investors in cooperative societies until completion of procedures on the dismissal of investors from cooperatives and to amend their situation, reports Al-Shahid daily quoting sources.
Court ordered the husband to divorce his wife
The Family Court ordered a Kuwaiti citizen to divorce his wife due to the harms he caused her, and give her entire rights following the divorce. Lawyer Zaid Al-Khabbaz had filed the lawsuit on the behalf of the wife, after her husband kicked her out along with her daughter.

29,710 expats cancel work permits
Director of Public Relations and Information Department and spokesman of the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Aseel Al-Mazyad said that 29,710 expatriates have canceled their work permits and left the country in the first seven months of this year. Al-Mazyad added PAM has completed 918,011 transactions in the first half of this year related to transfer, renewal and cancellation of work permits.
