Fake Police in Kuwait
23-06-2018 – The Ahmadi police are looking for an unidentified police for stealing KD 160 from a Sri Lankan, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the victim has filed a complaint with the Sabahiya Police Station. In his complaint the man claimed the suspect impersonating police asked him for his ID and when he pulled out the wallet, he was hit on the head and the man escaped with the money. The incident happened when he was on his way home.
Hawkers Arrested in Mahboula
Ahmadi securitymen, in coordination with Kuwait Municipality, arrested a number of hawkers and violators of law, and confiscated large quantities of spoiled commodities during a security campaign launched to arrest violators of labor and residency laws, reports Al- Anba daily.

Kuwait launched “E-Driving licence system”
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) launched on Wednesday an e-driving licence system and installed 100 traffic cameras in accordance with the stateof- the-art technology. The ministry also set up 20 digital direction boards to serve surveillance and follow-up on roads and intersections, the Ministry’s Public Relations and Security Media Department said in a statement following a visit made by Undersecretary Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Dosari to the operation room.
Kuwait fights highly contagious virus – 77 affected in US Army at Camps
The United States Army Central is currently working to contain the outbreak of highly contagious norovirus at Camp Buehring and Camp Arifjan in Kuwait, according to armytimes.com. The website quoting deputy chief of public affairs and communications for US Army Central, Kavanaugh Breazeale, told Army Times 77 people have been diagnosed with symptoms of the virus, but only seven of those are confirmed cases so far.
