Assistant Undersecretary for Citizenship and Passport Affairs in the Interior Ministry Major General Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah has unveiled a plan to allow citizens and expatriates residing in GCC countries to travel between the GCC member-nations using a smart card.

Transferring visa from Private Sector Project to Government Project
I came to Kuwait (in 1998) on a MEW project visa and after that I changed many companies but remained on the same project visa. Tax proposed on expat money transfers – Rate up to 5%
MP Faisal Mohamed Al-Kandari has proposed imposing tax on money transfers of expatriates. In a press statement, Al-Kandari pointed out the State of Kuwait hosts about three million expatriates who transfer money to their countries, which reached KD 19 billion in the last five years and this amount is equivalent to the national budget of Kuwait for one year. Study to increase the traffic fines by 50 to 100 percent
