Article 85: Equipment and Technicians

For certain types of work, the Minister requires the employer to provide safety equipment and to hire qualified safety specialists to check that safety rules are followed.
Official text of Article 85
The Minister, upon seeking the opinion of the competent authorities, shall issue a decision identifying the kinds of activities which shall abide by the provision of the necessary equipment and tools for the workers' safety & occupational health in such installations, along with the appointment of the specialized technicians or specialists for controlling and ensuring to what extent the safety & occupational measures conditions have been observed. Also, the decision shall indicate the qualifications and responsibilities of those technicians and specialists as well as their training programs.
