What is “Opening Up”?

It’s a live Musical Theatre concert — a joyful collection of well-known musical theatre songs, performed by a full cast, with moments of connection and storytelling woven between the numbers. There’s no single storyline to follow and no theatre knowledge required — just great music, strong voices, and the energy of a live performance.

The setlist spans much-loved classics like Wicked and Into the Woods, powerful modern shows like Next to Normal, and — for the first time ever in Kuwait — a special medley celebrating Hamilton.

Whether you’re a long-time musical theatre fan or someone who’s never seen one before, Opening Up was created to be welcoming, uplifting, and easy to enjoy. It’s about connection, identity, joy — and leaving the theatre feeling lighter than when you arrived.
