The Kankoni Folk Band was established in 1986 and has released five music albums. The band presents various styles of Habban folk arts, including Al-Naqazi, Al-Dawari, Al-Khameeri, and Al-Darbazi.
In its Naqazi performances, the band presents a wide range of old and traditional Kuwaiti songs alongside modern songs. It also performs national songs and Liwa music. The band has participated in many national and social events.
The invitation is open to the public.
