The sources said a proposal will be submitted soon to determine rents according to per square meter — two dinars per square meter for housing in the Capital Governorate, KD 1.5 in Hawally, KD 1.250 in Farwaniya and 500 fils in Ahmadi and Jahra.

The proposal also states 35 percent will be added to the total rent value (based on square meter) to new buildings that have been built or rebuilt not more than three years ago and 25 percent to residential houses overlooking the seashore or those which are not more than 500 meters far from there,

10 percent of the basic rent shall be added to houses overlooking directly the main streets.

  5. As we know these days..kuwait government is checking all the illegal expat residing here …strictly. .we hope they will also strictly maintain the standard laws n rules for flat n rooms..as mentioned. .so that it will be easier for us to survive here n work here for long term basis…n on taxi fares also ..cause fuel price is so cheap…same should be in taxi fares..hope for the implement asap

  6. In your dreams only

  7. Thousands will block it if ever taken seriously. Its a reactive chain. A lot live from the commissions. Its a hard proposal.

  8. It's almost never the Kuwaiti house owners that offer over-priced rents. Generally, it's the brokers from the rental agencies that drive up rental cost for higher commissions. Kuwait should look closer at regulating the property agent commissions. Almost always if you can do business directly with the Kuwait flat owner you will find a reasonably priced rental and pay zero commission.

  9. It's all about Greed !!!!!

  10. It's an bullshit they won't do it

  11. Yah it' s a big inshallah or it's only in our dreams….companies dont folllow the yearly 5% increase and almost all of the house rent here in kuwait os very costly and only expats in the one who's suffering not to mentioned all haris that is making business on increasing of rent without proper notice….if this happened in the future I really salute kuwait ..but still it's a big question mark

  14. Yes you are right dhirendra raj subedi what ever we got salary was very less according to job and work day by price was high and we are coming abroad for earn some amount or to build our carrier but the salary was very less for original Kuwaitis that money no value but for us it is too much and hard to run month with salary if country increase the salary of all expert I hope it will be good

  15. Truely, i would like to say, On the current time, The total monthly salary of expacts expences only on basic needs.House rent is too high, foods very expensive.Oil prices reduce but transport fares is always high. Its good if company increases their salary on the same ratio. Otherwise its difficult to survive here.

  16. Welcome this rule should be implemented because we are in a crucial situation
