Kuwait to build 25,000 new houses in Al Ahmadi , Kuwait

ahm73 Kuwait intends to construct a new city with 25,000 houses in Al Ahmadi governorate to tackle its housing shortage, according to a media report on Wednesday.

“The project will soon be presented to the municipal council for final endorsement,” said a municipality official. Authorities have already allocated land near (south of) Sabah Al Ahmed City in the southern Al Ahmadi governorate, said the Arabic daily Al Rai. The municipality would announce the project details within the next few days, said the official. The project is the second housing scheme in a row following last week’s endorsement of the construction of 43,000 houses south of Saad Al Abdullah City in north Kuwait, the paper added
