 Join writer Mai Al-Nakib at Q8 Books to celebrate the paperback release of her award-winning collection of short stories, The Hidden Light of Objects (in the UK and MENA region).  Reading to be followed by discussion and book signing. Paperback copies will be available for the first time in Kuwait!

Mai Al-Nakib is the author of the short story collection, The Hidden Light of Objects, published by Bloomsbury. Mai Al-Nakib was born in Kuwait. She holds a PhD in English literature from Brown University and teaches postcolonial studies and comparative literature at Kuwait University.
