Environmental Police affiliated to the Public Security Sector, in coordination with Environment Public Authority, has been taking firm legal action against the violators of environmental law including those who violated the law on grazing of livestock by allowing animals under their care to stray onto the roads and cause traffic accidents.
In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, Public Relations and Security Media Department revealed that the expatriates who were arrested for committing violations in this regard will be deported.
It affirmed that the Public Security Sector will continue to ensure the environmental law is not violated and those who do so will be arrested and referred for justice.
Public Relations and Security Media Department said awareness campaigns concerning environmental protection will continue to be carried out via all types of media, urging all sponsors to warn their employees to follow the rules and regulation in this regard.
