General Traffic Department (GTD) embarked on several traffic campaigns in all six governorates last week
and issued 41,100 violations for various traffic offenses, impounded 1,939 vehicles and 6 motorbikes. They also referred 86 people to detention and deported 25 expatriates for driving without license.
The Department affirmed that campaigns will continue in all governorates 24/7 to curb traffic violations and protect citizens and expatriates.
