The Embassy of the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with Korean-Kuwaiti Cultural Diwaniya (Han-Kut), is organizing a special event for “Chuseok”. Chuseok, which is about giving thanks to the ancestors, relatives and neighbors for the year’s harvest in Autumn, is one of the most important and meaningful traditional holidays in Korea. This Diwaniya event will give you a chance to learn about the traditions of Chuseok, including festive Korean food, tradition of Charye (ritual for the ancestors), and some traditional games. In addition, there will be an opportunity for the participants to experience different handcraft workshop and make their own souvenirs. You are most welcome to join us for the day and enjoy together!
