Have you ever seen a rally driver/drifter compete against a parkour athlete? A high speed duel race between Red Bull athletes Mohammad Al Attar (parkour) and abdo feghali (rally/drift) took place on the abandoned failaka island in Kuwait. The athletes raced through old buildings and natural obstacles to find out who will reach the finish line first.

Abdo Feghali is a Lebanese Rally Driver and triple national champion who began his career in 1998. His passion for drifting to develop his talent and become a drifting veteran. Feghali was crowned the Middle East’s Hill Climb Champion for 4 consecutive years. In 2013 Feghali managed to break the Guinness world record for the longest vehicle drift.

Mohamed Al Attar is a freerunner and parkour athlete from Kuwait. He began his career in 2006 and participated in several shows across the GCC countries. His first competitive win was at Red Bull Urban in Jump in 2010. In 2011 Al Attar and his team earned 3rd place spot at the Red Bull Art of Motion.

The Island is 20 km off the coast of Kuwait City in the Persian Gulf. The name “Failaka” is thought to be derived from the ancient Greek
