Domestic service hire to cost sum of KD 990 – Rates fixed
Anyone looking to hire the services of a domestic worker through one of the government-accredited offices interspersed throughout the country will now have to a pay a total sum of KD 990 ($3,267).

An Asian housemaid was arrested after her sponsor caught her making out with an Asian man, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, a Kuwaiti woman lodged a complaint at Abdullah Al-Mubarak Police Station against her housemaid, explaining that she saw her housemaid talking to an Asian man near the front door and then they kissed and touched intimately.

Officers from the Residency Investigation Affairs General Department in the Interior Ministry arrested members of two dummy domestic labor offices, one of which encourages housemaids to run away from their sponsors by promising double their salary and the other operates as a daily maid services center.
